The Twickenham Auto Club is an independent organization dedicated to the encouragement of the proper, safe and proficient use of automobiles, and to foster the sport of auto motoring through the sponsorship of autocross events, road rallyes and car shows. Formed in 1954, TAC continues to enjoy a long, rich history and remains one of the most active automobile clubs in North Alabama. Not specializing in any one marque, the Twickenham Auto Club provides opportunities for a wide range of sports car related interests. Whether you drive a BMW, Jaguar, Porsche, or Yugo, if you enjoy automobiles, you'll like TAC!

| The members of the Tennessee Valley Region, SCCA participate in a wide variety of car related activities including Club Racing, Time Trials, Autocross, RallyCross and bench racing. If you enjoy any of these events or have an interest in learning more, please read on and/or come to our monthly meetings. We are also involved in the community supporting GreenPowerUSA and Tire Rack Street Survival.
