Name: Austin WebbLocation: Hartselle AlEmail: Webb(dot)austin(at)gmail(dot)comPrice: $3300 obo, CASH ONLY ABSOLUTELY NO TRADES!For sale:1990 Honda Civic hatchback DX 5spd. Mileage is showing as 182K miles (as it reads on the cluster). The motor has been recently rebuilt (within the last 4 years), clutch was also replaced when motor was rebuilt. Motor is a D15B2 block with D15B7 head and D16A6 cam. When it was rebuilt the number 2 cylinder showed signs of one of the piston rings freezing, it was evident in that the #2 cylinder had scarring. Because of this scarring the motor does burn oil, roughly one quart every oil change. It is very dependable and I've been using it as a daily driver for the last 4 months.Prior to my ownership of it, it was involved in at least one accident (rear end). I've all but fixed minor body wrinkle and the frame rails/unibody supports are still straight. Paint is fading in one place on the roof, there are paint chips, and a few minor body dents. Basically it's showing it's age for a 20 year old car.The car has a vibration in the front wheels when braking, this is either a steering tie rod end or drive shafts. Front windshield is cracked.Handles fantastically and settles into a turn without wandering. Car is NOT listed as "first come first serve", a.k.a. no "dibs", first person with cash takes it home. Title in hand and it's ready to go. I do not accept checks, only cash and paypal.
Sorry to post a non-car related thread. I assume almost everyone on here is a home ownerso I'm looking for a company/contractor/individual/etc to paint the exterior of my house, and where needed replace some of the siding/paneling.I'm looking for anyone that has personal experience with a company they would recommend, and most importantly, would use again if the need arose. Thanks!

1st day I see that Mike Cavenaugh is 46 of 51 in his Miata in STR. Glagola and Pulliam (both from Atlanta) both coned every run and are 31 and 36. Clean runs would have put them both top 5.In STS John Brown (Nat'l champ who paxed 1st in Chattanooga the other week) is 20th.Steve Hoelscher, Nat'l Champ formerly from Huntsville, lies 2nd in DP.

The 2010 Entry Form is on the site.Angie is feverishly working on the new content management system for the site. Hopefully we can unveil the NEW CMHC site before the event. Any other feedback? I have receive ONE request from Brad Clarke/Eddie Jory: user "updateable" bios. Yes, that will come with the new CMS. Anyone else? I'm about to delete all the the entrant bios unless you contact me with current information. If you're happy with what you've got, please just let me know- otherwise we are wiping the slate clean (or we can alter info per your request). Thanks all and see you at Crow VI...

I had a brand new clutch that had 2 sprint races on and the centerforce clutch decided to come apart at Barber during my practice session. After paying for the practice and only getting 2 laps in I wan't happy. I thought I could call centerforce up today and that they would be happy to send me another clutch.....I was sooo wrong!!!! I don't believe in bad mouthing any business or person thru the internet but I believe people should be aware....Absolutely no reason for the clutch to come apart. I have been using Spec clutchs & ACT clutchs for the parts 10 years and have never had a problem...This is the first and last time I will ever use a centerforce clutch....Here is a nice picture of the clutch before I removed it...What do you think?
