Tim,
I'm kindof a noob... I came to the last solo in december. Drove the silver Rx-7. My brother and I are trying to get into autocrossing this season. We are very interested in the performance driving school, but we will be out of town that weekend. I am wondering if it would be possible to move the date to the last weekend in Feb or first weekend in March? I understand if that isn't possible.

also, who/where do i get my solo pass?

Thanks!
>Chris

Sounds like you need to reevaluate your priorities

Seriously though, we had a slalom committee meeting (all invited) earlier this year to pick dates. We tried to avoid known conflicts with a bunch of other events. Unless something happens to the event site, the dates are as they are published.

Yep, the dates are already fairly set in stone now unless we have a conflict with the City that pops up. IIRC there was a conflict on the last weekend in Feb and the City had something scheduled for the first weekend in March.

You can see Brad about a Slalom pass - Please note that you must be a TAC member to take advantage of the pass.

Usually 8 or 9ish until 4 or 5 pm. You can always show up and run what you can and leave if you need to.

Any discounts on entry fees for multiple family members? It will cost me $105 for myself and 2 daughters , and if James comes it will be $140 for the day! Maybe a $10 discount per extra family member? Just asking (Al region has one set up). Thanks

Clay, sorry I missed this. There is nothing setup in TAC's Slalom Rules for this but I will bring it up at the next meeting.

Everything on this schedule is now mirrored and will be kept up to date on Huntsville Car Scene's calendar (whew!). So now you can see what else is happening on the weekend without missing out on important autocross information.

I'm new and have had a couple people tell me about this...

Just curious if there is a possibility of more classes this year. Unfortunately my car is not in a running state so I couldn't join in.

We only do the school once per year, but every event is a chance to learn. There are always experienced people who can help you learn to drive better. We can ride with you and you can ride with us. Come to an event, and make sure you talk to people to let them know you are looking for instruction.
